Yes. Using Blue Bins is a great way to pack, stack and move from one office location to another. However, we do not allow our boxes to be used for hazardous material moves.
Our Blue Bins measure 2.83 cubic feet (24”x17”x12”) and have comfort-fit handles with heavy-duty attached lids that can be locked using our zip ties. Our boxes conveniently nest for easy storage. Once packed, they stack and fit securely into our specially designed dollies. You may optionally purchase removable labels that allow you to easily keep track of your packed items.
Our environmentally friendly packer’s newsprint is renewably sourced and is biodegradable, recyclable and compostable. Each sheet is 18″ x 24″ (thicker than printer paper) and comes in stacks of 175 sheets. Packer’s newsprint costs $12.00 to purchase.
Blue Bin Rental prices include free delivery and pickup up to the St. Paul & Minneapolis Metro Area. We also service some areas outside of our standard coverage area but there are additional charges for delivery or pick up to these locations. Please call for details.
You place your order and select a delivery date and a delivery time window. We will call you the day before your delivery day and narrow down your delivery time window. Blue Bins will be delivered on that day within the delivery time window. After your move, just let us know you are done with your boxes and we will pick up the empty boxes from your new home or office. You have to be present at delivery and pick up.
Yes! For longer orders please call us for special long term pricing. We help lots of customers who need to put their items in to long term storage, de-cluttering before listing their property for sale, or who are renovating their home and want to keep their goods safe.
Currently, we do not rent Blue Bins for relocations outside of Minnesota.
We accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express upon check-out of the Blue Bin Rental website order page. We will also take a credit or debit card payment over the phone.
We are not a moving company. We simply supply the materials needed for you to have an affordable and convenient moving experience. However, we work with many local moving companies and would be happy to give you a referral.
Having your movers pack using Blue Bins will save you money! Since movers charge by the hour you’ll pay less because your movers will not have to spend time building cardboard boxes. They also won’t charge you for the cardboard boxes since you will be using Blue Bins instead.
Yes, as long as there are available time slots the following day, we can accommodate your order.
If possible, any rescheduling should be done 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled delivery or pickup. However, we realize moving can be unpredictable. If you have need to reschedule, just send an email to info@bluebinrental.com or call 612.351.BINS.
Blue Bins can be reused over 60 times vs. cardboard which can be used once or twice. Cardboard makes up 41% of all municipal waste in the United States. Unfortunately, only 25% of that gets recycled annually – meaning 75% ends up in landfills; which are becoming increasingly full. When cardboard decomposes, it releases methane, which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming.
